Community Programs

Catholic Rainbow Outreach is here to improve the community by reaching out to gang members, youth, migrant workers, and to others with the “Good News.” we provide food for the needy in our area and provide food and clothes to other ministries.

We offer assistance:

  • Outside counseling with Los Angeles Center for Alcohol and Drug Abuse which includes Spirit and
    L.A.C.A.D.A. wich offers classes on: Drug Education, Anger Management, Assertiveness, and Parenting and recovery.
  • Bible Studies A.A. meetings Discipleship program Computer Training classes. Re-entry home available after one-year graduation. Vocational rehabilitation for jobs and School grants and training are available through State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (for those who qualify)
  • Jail, Prison, and Youth Authority ministries

Choir

All the men in the home participate and are trained in singing and sharing their testimonies. Musically incline Volunteers are needed please contact us if you can help.

Youth

Currently under developement. However, we do visit youth in detention and counsel with them. We also minister to school children about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and sin. We minister to youth groups in their parishes. We encourage youth to get involved in bible study, youth encounters, and good seminars. We encourage youth to be obedient to their parents that they may live a long life. (Ephesians 6: 1-3)

Food Distribution

“We provided a daily food distribution to the general public six days a week Monday-Saturday our hours are from 11:30 Am-1:00pm then 3:00pm-4:00pm .
Food is given on a first come first serve basis, we reserve the right to refuse our serves to the public.
